Volunteering with Youth in Action is an incredible opportunity to change a child’s life. Not only will you gain a sense of responsibility, volunteer hours, and experience working with children, but you will be able to use your talents and knowledge to give back to communities across the UK. As a mentor, you will be responsible for reaching out to your assigned student to coordinate times, sending meeting invites, and curating sessions. But you will also be meeting interesting people, helping your student discover themselves and what they can do, and making apart of a child’s week just a bit better.
